“ My husband and I drove 3hrs to come here and it did not disappoint, this was the most amazing food and experience we had. Everything was made fresh and staff was super friendly. My husband says we might have to move to North Carolina because of this restaurant. ”
“ It was my wife and my first time here. We decided to give it a try after reading so many great reviews and because we like Japanese cuisine so much. I have to say that the kiosk ordering was not my favorite part of the experience. We are seniors and prefer the more traditional way to order a meal plus being our first time there we didn't know exactly what to order. Other than bringing our drinks and food to us there was really no interaction with the waitress. The restaurant was busy and we were probably the only people that didn't order ramen. The chicken rice curry was just ok because I'm half Japanese and we prepare it at home a few times a year. We were a little disappointed that there weren't more vegetables like we are used to having with it. Next time we'll try the ramen because it seems to be the dish everyone raves about. We will be back for sure. ”
“ Best ramen around here!!!! 10/10! Easy to order at the kiosk, delicious homemade lemonade, & friendly staff too. I wish I ordered extra noodles because their home made noodles are PERFECTION! ”
“ Staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was calm, quiet and everyone cleaned up after themselves. Everything you need as far as utensils and to-go boxes were on two stations and easily accessible. Drove an hour to dine-in and I do not regret it at all! Had the Pork Gyozas, Spicy Tonkatsu Deluxe, Spicy Miso Ramen, and the Pork Katsu Curry. Spent around $74. Everything was flavorful and absolutely delicious! The best ramen I have had in a very long time. This will be the place my husband and I get ramen anytime we get the craving. Overall it was a great dining experience. ”
“ Food: The broth and noodles were absolutely delicious. The chashu cuts were small but thick. I was very happy with how the spicy Tonkontsu tasted and was presented. Portion was fair. My experience with the cleanliness and atmosphere: Upon coming in, there were 12 people ahead of me and it’s a self-order system. I was worried I wouldn’t have time to eat since I was only on a lunch break, but my food came out quick! Just the wait to order was long. Outside of the food, the place feels a bit unkept. There is very little design/decor inside, seating can be awkward (you pick your seats at the end of ordering), and the EDM music is loud. Customers are entrusted to clean up after themselves, and I ended up eating with someone’s old dishes in front of me. Tables go uncleaned after every meal because of this too. When the employee brought my food out, I thought they would clean it up but they didn’t. Maybe it’s not their job exactly but it definitely isn’t mine.. that wasn’t a very comfortable feeling. I wish the inside felt more organized and peaceful but the yummy ramen made up for that! ”
